Erasmus+ results for year 2025

Updated: Jan 12

Kosovo Erasmus+ Office in cooperation with EU Office in Kosovo and Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation held an annual conference on the publication of results and achievements of Erasmus + and the eTwinning Awards to outstanding school projects in Kosovo.

Between 2015 and 2025, more than 11,000 students and academic staff from Kosovo benefited from Erasmus+ academic mobility. From 2021 to 2025, 59 Kosovo students received Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree scholarships. In the same period, Kosovo’s institutions took part in 53 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects as coordinators or partners, attracting over €8 million in EU funding.

In the 2025 Erasmus+ call for proposals for academic and mobility projects Kosovo ranked second in the Western Balkans in the number of projects won (15). This steady growth highlights Erasmus+ as a key driver of modernisation and reform in Kosovo’s higher education sector, and the fact that nearly all public and private universities now hold the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education certification makes Kosovo one of the most internationally open systems in the region. We are pleased to share the infographic presenting all Erasmus+ Call results for Kosovo for the year 2025. The infographic provides a clear overview of the selected applications and key statistics for each call.
