HERE Roundtable Discussion: Looking Ahead - Challenges and opportunities of ICM implementation for HEIs in Kosovo

On 15 April 2026, Kosovo Erasmus+ Office and HEREs, within the framework of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) activities, organized a roundtable that brought together brought together representatives from International Relations Offices (IROs) of both public and private higher education institutions in Kosovo. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Education and Science in Pristina and aimed to facilitate discussion on current developments within the Erasmus+ programme, with a particular focus on the implementation of International Credit Mobility (ICM), the role of IROs, and future perspectives in light of Kosovo’s potential association to the programme.

A key takeaway from the seminar is clear: the preparation of higher education institutions is essential to successfully navigate this transition and fully benefit from the opportunities ahead.
